Meet Our Writer
Jason Baker was born here in Burke County and has lived here since. Growing up in the Drexel community and being a part of the sports scene since childhood, Jason brings a lot of experience and knowledge in the field of sports. Jason started out playing football as a young child with an ambition that would follow him all the way to High School. He was a member of the East Burke High School football team for the entirety of his educational years and has been a presence at the games there after. Jason has been a trusted writer for the Morganton News Herald and continues to write for his local supporters.
