We are still trying to figure out a lot about our team and our identity, Friday night will say a lot about us in how we respond to the first two weeks of the season.

Wilkes Central is a good football team, we have our work cut out for us.

They battled back to beat North Iredell after being down 23 points at halftime, so you know they have grit about themselves.

Their defense is aggressive and sound, offensively they are physical and have an athletic quarterback so we have to play assignment football and do our jobs

Our kids played hard last week but we must clean up self inflicted wounds

Freedom has a good ball club, coach (JK) Adkins has done a great job over there

To win the game, we have to contain their quarterback and play well on the perimeter on defense

We have to be able to execute our blocks up front and get the ball to our playmakers in space (on offense)
