Ben Mast (East Burke 2023, Averett University football)

Mast finished his sophomore season as a Cougars defensive back with 17 tackles and a tackle for loss while also recording his first career interception vs. Guilford College

Haley Lowman (Draughn 2021, Lees McRae College women’s soccer)

The collegiate soccer career for Lowman concluded after playing 67 career games in four seasons for the Lady Bobcats following a Conference Carolinas tournament matchup with Belmont Abbey (which Belmont advanced due to a penalty kick shootout in overtime).

Lowman, a former Adam Manns athlete of year at DHS, finished with 11 career goals including a recent goal to lead Lees McRae to a division championship.

The Lady Bobcats finished with a 10-2-4 overall record, 9-0-3 in Conference Carolinas play.
