Haley Lowman (Draughn 2021, Lees McRae College Women’s Soccer)
Lowman made a significant moment in her collegiate soccer career by scoring a first-half penalty kick to lead her Lady Bobcats to a 1-0 win over Converse and the Conference Carolinas Northwest Division championship with a 6-0-2 mark.
Lowman made three goals (11 career) off nine shot-on-goal attempts in 15 games.
Lees McRae will have the top seed for the Conference Carolinas tournament, starting play on November 15th.
Alexis Diaz (Draughn 2023)/Yadira Castrejon (Draughn 2024) (Sweet Briar College Women’s Soccer)
A Lady Wildcats duo each played 15 games and scored four goals for the Vixen, with Diaz providing an assist.
Diaz (up to 10 career goals) had 26 shots on goal for a .520 percentage and averaged 77 minutes per game.
Castrejon had nine shots on goal and averaged 81 minutes per game.
John Robert Abernathy (Draughn 2023, Guilford College football)
Abernathy punted for the Quakers in eight games this season, averaging 35 yards per punt.
He has recorded three touchbacks, with his longest punt of 73 yards coming against Sewanee College.
Ben Mast (East Burke 2023, Averett University football)
Mast appeared in seven games for the Cougars, recording 16 tackles (six solo) and having one tackle for loss vs. Greensboro.
His most tackles this season (6) came against NC Wesleyan.
